ABOUT
Who We Are
Each month, throughout Kitsap and North Mason Counties, West Sound YFC engages with over 1,500 kids in schools, juvenile institutions, coffee shops, and local hangouts. Whether at the skate park, the detention center or coaching a teen mom through the struggles of parenting, YFC staff and volunteers show the love of Christ in tangible ways. While our faith motivates us to action, our programs are open to young people of all backgrounds and beliefs.

West Sound Youth for Christ (West Sound YFC) provides free educational and outreach programs that are inclusive and accessible to all children and youth throughout Kitsap & North Mason Counties. Through its programs, West Sound YFC seeks to provide an environment for positive youth development thereby enabling these students to reach their full potential in life. There are three programs under the umbrella of West Sound YFC: Campus Life, Juvenile Justice, and Parent Life.

Best road trip ever? Most Memorable would be the one that my wife and I took overnight because we thought that our two children would sleep through the night while we were driving, and they did. But we ended up driving through one of the worst snow storms ever on the way to Wyoming as well as driving through a tornado warning on the way back home.
One thing most people don't know about you? I have been blessed to be able to have traveled to four continents: Africa, Europe, Asia, and North America.

Coke or Pepsi? Water. But if I have to choose, Pepsi. :)
Best road trip ever? I'm from California and Disneyland is a 6 hour drive from my hometown! For my birthday one year, my friends and I drove down to Disneyland, and then they surprised me with an extra day to visit Harry Potter World!
One thing most people don't know about you? I'm allergic to avocados.
